Celebrating 11 Years


First Friday, September 1, 2017

Scranton: Opening of the Interdependence Day Hexagon Project will be part of First Friday, September 1 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  It will be interactive and fun which includes Yarn bombing, music, video, surprises, raffles and hexagons from local schools, community groups and around the globe. The Marketplace at Steamtown · Scranton, Scranton

The show will remain open from Sept 1 through Sept 29.
The Hexagon Project exhibit features visual art in all media by students ages 4-18 from around the world and communities of all ages. The purpose is to showcase the power and strength of youthful voice and creative vision.
According to Beth Burhauser, founder of the Hexagon Project the project shows the interlinking of the hexagons to demonstrate both understanding of interdependence and how art can lead in and become issues based global activism.
